Electoral abuse by PAS and “EU 2028”

The PAS electoral programme for the 2025 parliamentary election set the objective of signing an EU accession treaty by 2028. This initiative treats the phrase as a public commitment to verify, not as a guaranteed outcome.

Public criticism does not oppose Moldova’s European direction. It asks for precise distinctions between preparation, negotiations, treaty signature and actual accession, as well as clear accountability when a political deadline is not met.
